About Our Retreats
Relax, Reflect and Return Inspired...
You spend your days holding space for others - listening, guiding, supporting.
But when was the last time you had this kind of space?
Path To Practice retreats are all-inclusive and therapist centered.
They're somewhere you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and your practice, and gently top up your CPD hours
…all while being completely looked after.
This isn’t a conference, death-by-powerpoint or another seminar. It’s a beautiful, nourishing, restorative pause.
Who's it for...
Our retreats are curated by a therapist for fellow therapists.
For trainee and qualified counsellors and therapeutic professionals who are:
- Wanting to reconnect with their practice in a gentle, meaningful way
- Longing for rest that actually feels restorative
- Feeling isolated, creatively flat or close to burnout
- Curious about new ideas, but tired of formal, rigid CPD formats
- Craving connection with likeminded souls without any pressure for small talk or bravado
- Wanting CPD that nurtures your whole self, not just your logbook
Whether you’ve been in practice for years or are newly qualified, this is your space to pause, reflect and top up your cup.
You give so much to others, we've created this space for you.
What to expect...
Slow schedules. Nourishing connections. Deep exhale moments.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel a gentle shift into stillness.
No back-to-back sessions. No rigid schedules. Just space to breathe, to reflect, to be.
Each day is thoughtfully paced, offering a mix of connection and solitude, learning, rest and play.
Wake up slowly with a herbal tea or coffee and a hearty breakfast. Wander about the gardens or curl up in the quiet reading lounge.
Dip in and out of daily therapeutic creative workshops and peer-practice sessions that invite self-reflection without pressure.
Share laughter and conversation with other therapists who simply get it, without anyone needing to perform, compete or impress.
In the evenings, wrap yourself in a blanket in front of a film, take some time out to wander around the gardens or bubble your cares away in the hot tub, stargazing.
There’s no pressure. Just soft encouragement to get back to yourself and your calling.
Expect cosy textures, beautiful food, therapist-led experiential CPD, nourishing conversations and deep satisfying stillness.

Our retreats are fully inclusive as standard and everything is included in the price you see when booking.
We nurture an LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly space. We have a zero tolerance policy on racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, hatespeech and bullying.
Accessibility varies from venue to venue, we work closely with the country house owners to ensure safe and accessible retreats. Some of the venues are centuries old and have strict development rules which unfortunately mean accessible rooms may be limited.
